Description

The international master program in Ecological Environment Protection and Management offered by the School of Environment, Beijing Normal University, is designed for outstanding students in environmental science and related disciplines. It aims to develop students’ abilities to analyze and explore existing and developing issues in ecological and environmental studies provided with high quality curriculum system and opportunities for research practice and field study by support of school.

This program aims to provide students with theoretical and systematic specialized knowledge as well as practical skills in the field of environmental science. In addition, a key goal of the program is to inspiring students to apply professional theory and technology to solve the practical environmental problems of China and other developing countries by contextualizing and analyzing practical cases of ecological environmental protection and development status.

Additionally, School of Environment has developed further ability for international Ph.D. student education.

A recognized bachelor’s degree;
TOEFL or IELTS score required for international students whose first language is not English. A minimum score of 550 points /80 points is required for TOEFL and a minimum score of 6.0 is required for IELTS. Applicants who have received an original degree from an English-medium program in previous institutions can be exempted from test requirements.

There are a total of 6 international student dorms in BNU. All the rooms in Beijing Normal University are equipped with single bed, bedding, desk, bookshelf, chair, lamp, telephone,refrigerator,safe box, air conditioner, electric kettle, wardrobe. Hot water is provide the whole day and the room is cleaned everyday

About the University Summary

Beijing Normal University is an offspring of the Education Department of Imperial University of Peking established in 1902, BNU is mandated and tasked to provide top level Teacher training in Higher Education. After the development for over a century, BNU has become a comprehensive and research-intensive university with its main characteristics of basic disciplines in sciences and humanities, teacher education and educational science.
