Fees For International Students


Fixed Yearly/ Semester tuition fees

International students considering studying in China will pay the same fixed Tition fee each year / semester. These prices are indicated on the admission letters and we also inicate them on the course pages. Usuall these fees do not change while you study. Students are required to check with International Student offices for confirmation of fee changes before switching course or program. Also note that fees ma vary from one Course to another. MBBS programs and some Engineering programs are generally higher

Foreign student fees

Chinese Universities will generally charge two types of tuition fees. One for local Chinese Students which applies to the local students. There is a relatives higher fee for Overseas or International Students. Despite the 2 tiers, China still remains a cost effective destination for international students.

Student loans

Its generally impossible to Find Student loan schemes in China as universities need be funded fully but there are many scholarship options available. Some could cover the entire cost of our study from Fees, Accommodation and even comes with monthly stipeneds.

Scholarships and funding

There are several Scholarships that are available for International Students who want to stud in China for undergraduates and postgraduates. Deadlines and application requirements differ and we encourage applicants to always take note.  International student, can also get a type of scholarship for Scholarship funding specific to their country.

What’s Included in the Fees?


Tuition fees charged by Chinese Universities cover compulsory course costs, such as field trips and laboratory clothing but some courses may have additional charges associated with activities. These activities can include field trips or placements, or for required or recommended equipment. Details of any additional costs are listed on each course page and in your course module information.

MAKING MOST OF YOUR BUDGET

  • Books – you won’t need to buy all the books on your reading list, just the core texts. Remember all of University libraries have an excellent collection of books.
  • Vital equipment and materials – Most Universities have excellent campus facilities and computer access for all students. Your tutors or lecturers will let you know of the best place to buy any extra equipment you need for your studies.
  • Household bills – if you are in private rented accommodation, you will need to pay towards water, gas and electricity bills. You won’t have to pay council tax if everyone in your house is a student.
  • Shopping – showing your student ID card will get you a discount in many shops.
  • Transport – in China, the Subway / BusCards are a cheap way of getting around. If you live in halls in on campus, a Unilink bus pass is included in your hall fees*. If you want to travel further, buying a student rail or bus card will save you money on fares. There are many places to park your bike for free while you are on campus.
