About Shandong Jiaotong University

Shandong Jiaotong University was founded in 1956. In 2000, the Ministry of Communications transferred to Shandong Province and implemented a management system jointly established by the central and local governments. In 2011, it was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council as a pilot work unit for cultivating graduate students with professional degrees. In 2013, it was approved as a project construction unit of a famous school for the cultivation of applied talents in higher education in Shandong Province. It is also a strategic research unit for the pilot reform of applied technology universities of the Ministry of Education. In 2017, it was approved to approve the Shandong Province master's degree and awarded the construction unit (category A). The school is a typical university with the "Top 50 National College Graduate Employment".

The school covers an area of more than 3200 acres and is divided into 4 campuses: Changqing Campus, Wuyingshan Campus, Weihai Campus, and East Campus.
