Nanjing Medical University is located in China’s Jiangsu region. It offers esteemed medical degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is internationally renowned for teaching in clinical medicine, pharmacology and toxicology.

The university opened in 1934 under the name Jiangsu Provincial College. It changed its name in 1993.

Nanjing Medical University is the first batch of the Ministry of Education, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the provincial government to jointly build medical schools and Jiangsu high-level universities.
